The workshop was a real eye opener; I only discovered about alternative processing very recently and loved the warm tone on PT/PD prints. I didn’t have a clue how the process worked but embarked on the workshop determined to learn more. I am glad to say that it is far less complicated than I imagined and you don’t need a darkroom. When you see the image appear under the developer you feel like a magician, I loved the results and completely fell for the process. David was very patient, hands on, and an excellent host, by the end of the day you feel you have mastered the technique. This is the start of a new journey and I am looking forward to try my own prints.

David’s workshop provided a comprehensive and in-depth demonstration on the platinum printing technique. It was a natural confluence for both film and digital giving at once an atmospheric, cinematic texture, emotive of mystery and romance. The prints we choose have gained the timeless look I have sought to imbue on my equine images. The great detail and knowledge David imparted will allow me to put the theory into practice almost immediately. I love the results and exciting possibilities for my work - a new adventure begins!
