Newcastle photographs from 2009 have been added to the Newcastle Gallery, Part 1.

The Durham and Sunderland sections have been improved. The maximum size at which we were able to publish photographs on the site has been increased and we hope you like the larger photographs. We plan to continue throughout the whole site over the next few months.
We updated many of the photographs on the site for 2008/9. Unfortunately we've also had to reduce the number of photos in the site due to financial constraints. There are some older aerial photos of the region on our sister site www.flyingfotos.co.uk (access via links page).
WE ALSO NOW HAVE A BOOK OF TWENTY-FIVE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF SEAHAM. It is still available from Angus Butchers' shops in Seaham. For more information, click on 'GALLERIES' above, then select Seaham.
Most places look even better from the air and the north-east of England is no exception. In fact, places with coastlines, rivers, Castles and Cathedrals all look fabulous from the air, and we have more than our fair share in this region. The increase of destinations served by Newcastle and Teesside airports means that more people than ever have had the opportunity to see the area from the air. However, not everyone can have the window seat, (and commercial aircraft don't hang around for long!), so we give you the opportunity to "linger a little longer" and see the beauty of the north-east from a height of a few thousand feet.
Each section listed is a mini website on its own. Click on the "galleries" button above to reach the index photographs. Click inside one of the photos to expand the selection. Click inside your chosen photo to enlarge it.
We have started with only a few areas but hope to expand soon to cover a larger part of the north-east.
This selection of aerial photographs of the North-east of England is part of a much larger collection which we have amassed over the past ten or so years. We would put them all on this site except that it would take forever and also we have limited web space. We keep the website simple and uncluttered, partly because we feel it's the best way to see photographs and partly because we can't afford a bespoke website designer.
