My practice evolves around the notion of absent presence, the idea that something or somewhere can hold onto something of its past experiences, especially within the realm of the inanimate (referring to places and objects) and I consider that it is my job as an artist to speculate on such an embodiment and to visually respond to it, by making the non visible evident and objectifying the psychological. I find intrigue in what could be described as the “space between” the concrete and the imaginary.
